Lent begins with a traditional feast of pancakes and sausages served in the ambiance of our dining room. You are also invited to bring your palms from Palm Sunday to be turned into ashes for Ash Wednesday.

Washington Birthday Ball
Join us for a colonial dinner and merriment in honor of George Washington. The North River Colonial Dancers and their live musicians will have you dancing the night away. Come in C18 dress or any fancy dress but bring your appetite and your dancing shoes.

April 1 - Palm Sunday - 11:00 am
Passion of Christ - Join with the congregation to present the narrative of the passion of Jesus.

April 5 - Maundy Thursday
The congregation re-creates the traditional Seder that Jesus and the disciples celebrated in the Upper Room on the night that Jesus was betrayed.

April 6 - Good Friday noon
The traditional service will be held in the Chapel, which will remain open for prayer and contemplation until 3pm.

April 8 - Easter
An Easter breakfast-buffet will be served in the Church dining room from 9am-10:30.
Easter Worship will take place at 11am in the Sanctuary.

April 14 Cemetery Re-enactment 2pm (rain date - April 21)
Hear first hand from those who are our permanent residents about what life was like in their day. Re-enactors will be stationed throughout the cemetery to tell their tales.
Afterwards, enjoy light refreshments in the Community Room.

Each year members of the congregation and members of the community are invited to share their particular gifts of Spirit. You are encouraged to share your gift with songs, poems, musical renditions, works of art, flower arranging, photography, food ... the options are limitless.
